「Staff were fantastic from checking in to servicing the room and our needs. Nothing was any trouble. Restaurant staff were amazing along with all the chefs. Food was amazing cannot fault any meal we had. Nice garden area to sit outside The only thing to mention is outside our hotel room door (room 5 first floor) there must be a generator as every morning from 7am onwards. 「What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.」

「Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x」

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「Ideal location for town centre. Parking very limited but plenty of parking near by. Rooms were clean and tidy with everything you needed. Had to pre order breakfast including drinks when we got there which wasn’t a problem but found it odd that we even had to preorder the drinks! Our room was on top of the lounge are so could clearly hear the music, which again wasn’t a huge issue for us but might have been for some. Overall though, a lovely little B&B perfect for what we wanted. Would stay...

「I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. 」
