"The Fujiya is an impressive and beautiful historic hotel. We stayed with our 5 month old baby in the Forest wing. The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip). Would thoroughly recommend a stay here due to its history and grandeur!"

"Cous Cous is a gem and I feel lucky I found it. It is located in the woods uphill from a non-touristy workaday fishing town. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food.
