"Enjoyable stay. Hotel/spa staff- without exception- friendly and attentive. Food & beverage quality excellent. Slightly disappointed that room (120) had multiple unsightly stains in bathroom- surprising at this property. Also issues maintaining consistent heat level in room. Still highly recommend. Stunning architecture, amazing setting and interesting history. "

"There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time."

"A wonderful, charming BnB with a very knowledgeable host, delicious breakfasts, excellent service, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and charming home. Beautiful surroundings of Squam Lake and hiking trails, and many restaurants in the area of all sorts to choose from. There was a problem with the a/c and the host, Glenn, immediately changed our room when, after making several attempts at correcting the problem, it needed more than immediate attention could fix.
