"Good location but expensive breakfast."

"It is a very nice hotel. There is no concierge and the staff is lacking in local knowledge. There was no one to offer restaurant ideas or to assist in identifying things to see or do. It is actually in a good location and most things are within reasonable walking distance provided you can figure out which direction to walk."

"The location can't be beat. The room was a bit older, but there was plenty of light (interior view of another building though). It did have an odd shape to it, kind of an L - which is fine, but made the TV at one end, and the bed at another. In my room, there was limited workspace, so I wasn't able to work in the room much - went to a cafe instead. I have walked by this hotel many times during trips to DC but never stayed. "this hotel was very convenient for our needs. We were there to see the basic DC sites, and we were less than a block – two partial blocks – to a major metro with three or four lines. We were about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the Air&Space Museum, and then the mall from there. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. The staff was very helpful and congenial. I’m more traditional in my taste, but the decor was fun and modern. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have no complaints."

"We loved the vibe! The staff could not have been more accommodating. The bar food was delicious as was the hearty, hot and fresh breakfast. The room is European in style and clean, clean, clean. Parking is available only on street and you need to start feeding the meter at 7am weekdays which just needs to be planned for in your day.
