"Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...

"Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Abby’s Lantern Hill Inn. The room was very clean, the innkeepers were nice and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and healthy and we liked the eco awareness implemented with the bathroom amenities. Just a short walk, less than a mile, to Foxwoods. Our only complaint has nothing to do with the Inn, however it should be noted, we could hear the guests downstairs from us. We had a great weekend stay and would go again. Definitely recommend."

"The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping...
