"Room has a musky mouldy smell when we enter. Perhaps due to the moisture from hot spring bath that is attached to the room. Our beds were not made on the second day. Pillows not entirely enjoyable to use. Bed is good. Bkfast and supper spread is delightful. "

"The location is great for somewhere that you would like to do a getaway. The facilities are fantastic for both kids and adults who are into culture. If I must complain, it would be the fact that the estate is huge and car park is quite far from everything else."

I misread the French menu and didn’t see that they didn’t have a main course option which I could choose as a pescatarian, and they made a last minute substitution perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a restful getaway to opt for Volando. Our only suggestion is if there could be a gym added (but the surroundings are perfect for hiking)! "

"Very very large room with unobstructed view of the city. Great amenity and an amazing breakfast buffet. Very hospital staffs. Definitly a must stay in Yilan. We used Yilan as a base and took the train to Hualin to visit the Taroko National Park. This hotel locates about a km away from Yilan train station, best to go with a short taxi ride."

"We had an impromptu overnight stay from Taipei and found this place on the Expedia app. The place was very clean, the staff very solicitous, the breakfast buffet was inexpensive and delicious. Best of all, my family absolutely loved the pools."

"We arrived 2 hours before check in. The hotel let us leave our suitcase in their secure storage area before checking in and lent us bicycles to explore the countryside while we wait. The staff are very helpful and made the experience amazing overall. Another thing to note was the clean and relaxing common areas.
