"The Beacon Grand is an unbelievably charming hotel. From the grand lobby and dining area, all the way to the adorable letter chute (which made it so easy to send postcards as they’re available on every floor I believe!). "It was a bit unsettling to find out from the doorman, at time of check in, that it was unsafe to walk to the streets to the left of the hotel. Also the hotel doesn’t have parking so we had to walk about a block to the nearest parking garage to leave our car overnight. "
