"This place was something out of a storybook. A hidden treasure trove of history, ornate decorations and coziness, we had a truly magical stay here over the weekend. Our host Richard was a delight; very helpful, courteous and produced the most wonderful breakfasts. Quiet and contemplative atmosphere, with beautiful, clean rooms with great decorations. A great place to sit in front of a fire after a long day of skiing or sightseeing. Lovely view of the mountain as well and I look forward to...

"This was an amazing place to relax. It was so peaceful and the surroundings are stunning. The property is also beautiful, very tasteful and clean. Gordon was a perfect host and we were very lucky that we were the only guests there. Beware that there are quite a lot of stairs to get to the 2 suites downstairs (I'm guessing around 15-20) plus stairs to get to the house from where you leave the car. Therefore, if you have a lot of luggage or mobility problems this is a potential issue. The...
