"I really enjoyed our week stay here. The place is very hilly, but we didn't mind so much. You have to make sure you snag chairs by the pool early because it gets HOT in the afternoon and you don't want to get stuck under the sun. The staff was all extremely friendly. I could tell some of them appreciated when you talked in Spanish, they seemed to not expect it from most people, but then got excited when you understood. The food was all great, our favorite was the Asian restaurant. The bartenders...

"The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner, both! And shower gel. The room has a smart TV so you can watch whatever streaming services you want to. The only downside to the room was that the fridge did not seal fully so it didn't cool its contents as well as it should have and we had to buy ice at the very nearby grocery...

It was extremely quiet and private, (there are only 7 rooms?) which we loved. The only sounds we would hear were from the surrounding birds...
