"Property was very nice. Front Desk Personnel were very personable. Lady working at night was very helpful. Parking garage was full due to event across the street. She opened the gate to the parking lot next to hotel so I could park. Room was clean mostly, some dusty areas, but nothing to complain about. Was a comfortable stay."

"My favorite hotel at UVA. Love the lobby and common spaces (cozy fireplace areas), the gardens are beautiful and the rooms are pretty. The restaurant was not staffed well for breakfast…so plan for extra time to be seated and served. "

"The staff was amazing. They have upgraded paint and linens however the rugs are fraying and ugly. I didn’t want to step on them barefooted as the brown color made it look dirtier than it likely was. Breakfast was nice but could use some more fresh fruit. I think an 8 rating is accurate. If you can overlook some of the cosmetics the staff more than makes up for it."
