"We were in the 7th floor and the view was wonderful. Kite surfers putting on a show. Don't pass on the Breakfast. Huge spread that includes Champaign. A lot like a Cruise Ship Breakfast. Our only negative is that the shower floor was very slippery. We used a towel on the floor. And during a shower the water temp would get way too hot for a couple seconds at a time, "

Only downside for us was that the air conditioning didn’t kick in until May. "Quirky bathroom, a bit cozy for a family of 3, mattresses a little firm for me personally, room was clean. Biggest disappointment for a premium hotel was the terrible quality toilet paper. Toilet paper shouldn't be scrimped on, it creates a poor impression and is false economy. Pool and sunbathing rooftop area nice. Hotel is in a good central location."

"I rarely take the time to write reviews but I must say that the stay at the Grupotel Playa del Palma was simply exceptional. The grounds, facilities, and food were amazing. The breakfest buffet was the best I've ever had (and I've experienced plenty). The dinner buffet was equally impressive and a relative bargain. The pool and spa also very nice. We choose Mallorca for the hiking - which was also amazing. Wonderful resort; wonderful island!!"
