"We enjoyed our stay. Staying at Palihouse makes you feel like you’re actually living within the Presidio neighborhood in Santa Barbara. The rooms are a nice size, the bed was comfortable and it was just what we needed for a weekend away. The location is really great. It’s close to shopping and restaurants on State Street, wine tasting rooms, and lots of great coffee shops. We loved walking around the neighborhood and would definitely stay here again. "

The room did have a funky odor, like an old house smelll, but it eventually went away once we turned on the air conditioner. "Most of the time, the pictures make the rental look better than it is. In this rare case, it was the opposite. The pictures made the place look fantastic, but it was even better in person. Very clean. Very luxurious. Private entrance and garage. Multiple private balconies. Everything is within walking distance. Great for families with kids. Couldn’t ask for a better location. "
