"There were no staff on check-in overnight, so our key was left out for us as we were arriving late. That worked fine, but didn’t feel very safe. Most of the breakfast food was gone the next morning with not many options left - this breakfast was poor. But otherwise the hotel was great for what we needed - something close to the airport for a late arrival and with room for a family."

"The Grand Hotel Zagreb was a wonderful hotel. The room was spacious and with all the amenities to make anybody’s stay a pleasure. The continental breakfast that was included offered a variety of good options to start your day. The staff at the hotel provided a professional service. The only drawback was the location. The hotel was kilometers away from the town center so we had to rely on taxi or Uber services to move around since we did not have a car."

"The best thing was the location (one corner of the "horseshoe") provided good access to Trg Tomislav and Trg Jelacic, both by streetcar and walking. It's a pretty good hotel overall and worth coming back to."

"Negatives are shower needs scrubbing/bleaching. Sheet was torn, bedspread stained,no instructions for TV use, so not working. Plus side, close to supermarket, bakeries, restaurants and the puck up area for tours."
