"A nice hotel near the centre of Newcastle. The outside and lobby has kept it's heritage style, however the rest of the hotel has been updated. The room was very large and very modern. Large spacious bathroom with the latest conveniences. The kitchen facilities were modern and clean, just like the rest of the room. It really was like a home away from home. Only two minor issues, one being the noisy from the street below. Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night, and it was a bit rowdy...

"Great central Newcastle location stayed 1 night Friendly check in at reception easy online check out. Tv lounge bar good. Room good size and bed very comfortable. Only drawback was no onsite parking which couldn’t be helped due to its central location. Tip do a deal with Q car parks for above 24 hour stay as we had reschedule our plans to ensure we left the car park under 24 hrs to avoid unnecessary charges.as the car park was not available next day to continue to park. This was Sat/Sun 16/17...

"An exceptionally good hotel, the best i have stayed at during 25 years of travelling for work throughout the world. Immaculate throughout, very comfortable beds and the friendliest, most helpful staff you could ever hope to meet. "Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. "Enjoyed our stay my only criticism would be we were not in the main hotel and had a view of the car park. We had to cross over the carpark for breakfast so if it was raining could really spoil your breakfast vibe. The room also had very poor lighting so was very hard to read at night and in the day. "
