"The hotel itself is well-maintained. I liked that they had filtered water available to refill a bottle. I did not try the breakfast but appreciated the coffeemaker in the room. It is around several blocks to Metro. When I booked the room, the website indicated that parking is available. What I did not see immediately was that parking was $40/night. Maybe they should mention this upfront? "

"Check in was great. This is my first time at a DoubleTree and the cookie was a nice touch. The first room we were assigned was dusty and the outlets didn’t work. We requested a new room and the front desk person was extremely apologetic. He gave us two days worth of breakfast for free at the restaurant ($18x 5 people x 2 days). "The Westin had the best costumer services, they were very kind to me and my son while we stayed. The Westin is under construction mostly on the first floor it was not noisy but the restaurant and dining area was as not a nice as it usually is. But the costumer services made up for it and the food was very good. I highly recommend the Westin because you don't get great costumer service anymore. "
