"This property was perfect for my husband and me. It was private, quiet, & a close drive to my husbands class reunion. It was easy to reach the owner. The property is surrounded by grape vineyards. We were in studio 5. There is a homey, spacious & enclosed backyard. I will return. "

"We stayed in the senior room. Other than lack of windows, the room was good. Bed was very comfortable. Walked to La Contenta club house for breakfast. Nice walk along the golf course and breakfast was excellent. "

"We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. "The property was great for a girls weekend in the wine country. Definitely more suitable for sleeping 6, can't imagine 8 adults would be comfortable. The communication was great. There are just a few simple touches that would make it a 5 star stay, such as adult sized bath towels, stocked toliet paper, and a full set of wine glasses (since it's the wine country). We cooked dinner both nights and the kitchen had the basics. The kitchen needs a full sized garage can (with extra trash bags). The...

"The room has everything you need. There’s a restaurant next door that has delicious food that you could easily overlook if there wasn’t a menu in the room recommending it. The longer your there the more you appreciate and adore the the place."

"Comfy cabin with large deck. We enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet evenings. Comfortable beds, but thin, steep stairs going to second floor. Only half-bath upstairs but two full baths downstairs. Good variety of games to play, adequate dishes, and a Keurig coffee maker. Grocery store a mile nearby. Owner very good communication. "
