"We had an amazing stay here and will be returning next time we holiday in Rarotonga.The only thing we did not enjoy was the meals breakfast was amazing but we ordered twice from the main restaurant and both times was very disappointing. We just ate at different places."

"Tamanu promotes itself as Casual Luxury. It's casual - and very nice - but not luxurious. The rooms need a bench or table on which to lay out clothes, you have to live out of suitcases in the cramped kitchen. The kitchen needs more than cheap plastic glasses - a couple of small plates and some cutlery should be provided so that you can enjoy a snack on the deck. The TV really should have an extensive menu of statins, including streaming services. These are small costs when set against rates...

"The property is a bit run down considering the cost. The pool surrounds need some attention,proven tiles at the edge, The Staff were excellent and helpful."

"Directions for guests arriving on late flights using a rental car were a bit problematic but are now resolved after constructive recommendations and discussion with their delightful and cooperative management. Fantastic location right on the edge of the spectacular Muri lagoon and plenty of kayaks, SUPs, goggles, snorkels available for guest use. The restaurant does excellent breakfasts and dinners."
