"Staff was great! Room was great, very clean. Breakfast was one of the best ive had in the US. Most anything 5 minutes away. Mountains 14 minutes away. Heated pool is just warm enough to help a little after being cold on the mountain, but not a hottub by anymeans ,and they never said it was."

"Love staying here. We used to stay here before we permanently moved to the area. Lost power for a couple days and took advantage. My husband judges a hotel by its mattresses and he said about The Village Inn, this is the best sleep I've had in a hotel - ever! I hope the power is out again tonight. It is a charming hotel, with greats enclosed decks with adirondack chairs that face a creek. You feel like you are in nature in the middle of town. Highly recommend! "

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. "The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin was cozy and inviting. Our only comfort complaint was the pillows (very flat!) and mattress (a bit hard!). But the views were gorgeous, the horses and goats loved visitors and dinner at the Inn was a treat. Make sure to grab a cocktail at the on-site cocktail bar! We will surely visit again!"
