"Great spot"

"We were pleasantly surprised. We normally stay at best western but it was sold out. I’m glad because this is our new Keene hotel. Last couple times at best western was not very good. A lot of people smoking pot and the whole hotel was disgusting. Front desk people here very personable. Enjoyed our stay."

"Best free breakfast i’ve had at any hotel hands down. The place overall was okay, not as nice as pictured but it was still so comfortable, the pool was really nice and like i said the breakfast was actually so great. i will be booking with best western plus again for sure. "

"It was not clear online which property you were booking. There’s the hotel, the castle and the condos. I didn’t realize it was all the same resort. Also if you book the hotel part you have to pay $15 per person to use the pool. Per day! Also hoped it would have a continental breakfast. Overall staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable."

"The only thing that I wish was different is having to go cups for coffee. I had planned on doing that since we had further to drive to our destination. I didn’t have time to sit and enjoy coffee in a real mug. 🙂"

"Very comfortable condo near the Stratton Mountain lifts. Very comfortable beds, lots of extra bedding. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. "

"It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. Mike and Julie are spectacularly thoughtful hosts. We felt welcomed, cared for, and a little bit spoiled :) during our three day stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to VT! "

"Great room, clean, roomy. Just wish the booking explained that pool and jacuzzi were not on site and we'd have to go to another hotel to use it. We ended up not even going to the pool because of this."
