"This is an adequate hotel but its on the wrong side of town. The walk to the riverside is down a busy road with occasion dogs roaming about. You can get a grab which is probably the best option . Probably not worth the money. Breakfast is poor "

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."

"The staff are lovely, Christina from housekeeping noticed I was a little sunburnt and brought in some aloe Vera for me without me asking and left it with us until we left, no charge, just thoughtful. Megan on the front desk was attentive and kind and Imre the manager and barman was always on hand if need be. To top it all the resident dogs are gorgeous. "The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "
