"My wife loved this place! She thought the rooms were well designed and crafted with quality...not the usual with a hotel. My take was that it was safe, comfortable, and clean. All the things that matter for me. I would add that across the street is the Wild Plum Cafe which has delicious pastries and breakfast. Get your free coffee at the hotel and your breakfast at the Wild Plum and be a happy camper!"

"You have to keep in mind that you are staying at a historic hotel. It’s beautiful & has that old hotel feel, which I always love. The amenities are so so, but that is to be expected. With that being said the room I stayed in has all the comforts of home. It’s cozy & the water is hot :) I enjoy staying in places like this which may not be the same for everyone. The staff is very warming & welcoming; and for me that is everything when you choose a place to stay when out of town. You can walk...

"It was a cozy Spanish style place in a great location next to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooms were much bigger than expected with a nice fireplace. It had a paid parking but you can easily find parking spots in street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic."

"We had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious and had a comfortable bed. High water pressure in the shower. The fireplace added to the experience. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! The complementary glass of wine each night was a nice touch! Definitely recommend, we would stay here again! "
