"Our stay at the Mai Tai Polynesia was amazing. There were no over the water bungalows available online when we booked a reservations but something opened up when we got there and Julia assisted us with upgrading. She was very kind and so helpful. "This was a beautiful place—the curb appeal is very good. But you are basically on your own here. Breakfast had been advertised, but once I arrived, I found out food is available only in high season. If you have a car, then you will do brilliantly here, but we were on foot and the area around the hotel is a main road with traffic and many barking, snarling, free-wandering dogs. The view of Mt. Otemanu from our resort was amazingly beautiful!! Every picture shot that we took on the resort was picture perfect! It was dusk, and there were crabs crawling all along the rock ledge going into the water. The over water bungalows in the distance were everything that we had imagined to be with fishes swimming right underneath that we can view from inside. ❤#BeachTips
