We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by.
