"GWL Manteca is an amazing place for kids. Everything is tailored to them having an awesome experience! An ice cream shop, a candy shop, Dunkin’ Donuts, pizza, burgers, a bowling alley, and arcade, and of course, the water slides. That being said, I’ve come here the last 4 years and they have made a lot of changes not necessarily for the good, they now charge per car for parking, refills on fountain drinks are limited, and body wash was empty in my room. "This a rare property which is updated and has a great breakfast. We were staying for 2 nights with kids while we visited the Great Wolf Lodge. The only part which didn’t look new/updated was the bathroom/bathtub. The person who did our intake was very unfriendly. Not sure what was going on for her. However the person who was at breakfast/lobby area the next day was lovely. She said she was relatively new and just was hospitable in a way I haven’t experienced in a chain American hotel."
