"The Penthouse is a blissful experience and if you need anything Gilbert will ensure your get it. We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds. "This place is listed as Gloria Beach Lodge but it does not exist at the given address on the confirmation email. The phone number is a Ukrainian one. To contact this number after many attempts was futile. A message was sent via a local number and a local who contacted me 6 days later .In the meantime my family and I had to find alternative accommodation for those 6 days. Unfortunately I had a second booking of 2weeks with same lodge which ended up being a hotel called Tradewinds which is...

"The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...
