5/5 Excellent
"Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen!
We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset….
And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen!
Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel….
Don’t forget to check their ‘souvenirs table’ of locally or Japan made goodies to take home.
The friendliness and discretion of the front desk people is exemplary.
This was part of the highlight of our holidays in Japan.
Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful hotel to us visiting tourists.
We wish you only the best for years to come!

2/5 Poor
Another case of what could have been
"Not good. Got a window-less room with paper-thin walls, could hear the bloke next door talk to the missus/kids on the phone (tbf wasnt even talking loudly), others snore etc. Breakfast was also poor (at least the 'gaijin' part of it)
It's a pity cause the location is great, rental bikes are free, there are plenty of cafes/things to do nearby."
