The traditional rooms are spacious, has a great views, and sleeping in a futon on tatami is a classic for a reason! The amenities are very nice too, with two whole building's worth of stuff! "The staff was incredibly accommodating and the garden was magnificent. Getting to feed the koi each morning and relaxing in the peaceful environment was fabulous. Couldn't recommend it higher."

"This hotel is convenient to go to Shoin Shrine on foot, although it is a steep climb from Shoin Shrine to the hotel. They have a shuttle from and to the station. They also provide baggage pick-up from the train station. The staff are very kind and friendly. Food is great."
