"I'd never stayed in a ryokan before, but have always heard what it was like. I can confidently say, after being in this one, that ryokans are an exceptional place to relax. The traditional rooms are spacious, has a great views, and sleeping in a futon on tatami is a classic for a reason! The amenities are very nice too, with two whole building's worth of stuff! A public bath, karaoke, arcade, bowling, an izakaya, etc. Probably the only thing I would like is wifi in the room (it's only...

This hotel is for business people and they appear to have few English speaking tourists. The staff was eager to assist but for the most part are young and inexperienced."
