"Easy check-in, staff is very helpful and for the most part friendly. Housekeeping staff was great but quite a few were not helpful, had an attitude or were rude. That was very disappointing. Front desk was great! "

"The Handlery is a solid stopover on Union Square. This time I stayed in the old section, just fine for the value, clean and unpretentious. The only downside was a droning machine running all night outside below, not crazy loud but could be disturbing for some. "

"The bed was very comfy. The pool area was 6 shower needed updating. There were gaps in the door. I could see the sun shining through 3 sides. It made it seem like it wasn't very secure."

"We enjoyed the size of the room. Great breakfast and good quiet and clean location. The valet parking staff were not friendly when we tried to pull the rental car in and install two car seats. They suggested we move into the street to do it despite having two young toddlers to watch and 10 pieces of luggage. He said we were making things “so complicated”even though we were trying to be safe. Not helpful. We would stay here again though. Perhaps not plan on parking or even pulling over here. "
