"The size of the bathroom (huge) was a surprise! Enjoyed the shower, lots of room, shower bars, great towels. The scones in the AM, delicious as was the coffee available in the lobby. Restaurant connected to the building, excellent check for hours open. Everyone friendly, helpful, especially the receptionist working in the early morning and afternoon. Stayed on the first floor, stairs to the upper floor a challenge for cane users. Had a great time and would stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint, Victorian era B&B. Our daughters loved all the books in the room and thought the trundle was the coolest thing (not to mention their love for the two cats that greeted us each day!). The breakfast was INCREDIBLE - homemade caramel pecan French toast with scrambled eggs and fruit. It is in a very convenient location to downtown placerville. You could definitely walk or bike, but probably not with little kids. Still was a very short drive for a nice jaunt...

"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"

"This place was private, quiet, roomy and on a lovely property. It was centrally located in the heart of Apple Hill. I was able to come and go with no issues and I loved that they had a full kitchen I could utilize. It was a little off the beaten path but still close enough I could easily access restaurants and local shopping. The owners were such a delight and very kind. I would 100% stay there again and plan to in the future! "

"What a wonderful location on a hill with a stunning view all day the rooms were great and all the amenities were top knotch my were where a huge family ranging from grandkids to grandparents everyone had a blast and didnt want the weekend to end, futhermore the host were so kind and extremely helpful we will be lookimg foward to our next trip"

"Comfy cabin with large deck. We enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet evenings. Comfortable beds, but thin, steep stairs going to second floor. Only half-bath upstairs but two full baths downstairs. Good variety of games to play, adequate dishes, and a Keurig coffee maker. Grocery store a mile nearby. Owner very good communication. "
