"Restaurant is a machine dispensing microwaveable ready meals. Lots of the electrical points were broken. No onsite presence. We had hoped for better than a cheap budget hotel chain offering."

"Lovely hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of this beautiful town. We booked a superior room overlooking the valley. The room was very spacious with a large bed and nice linen. Very friendly staff who provided directions to complimentary parking. We booked into the restaurant for dinner and were very pleased with the meal and local wine on offer. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"A beautifully and authentically restored Renaissance house with minstrel galleries, medieval armour and period furniture. Fabulous views from the delicious breakfast table. A bit different and can highly recommend this chambre d'hote."
