"Stowe is firmly implanted in my brain as an amazing place to visit, and the Timberholm plays a big part of this. Just a few minutes drive outside of the town centre, it's easily accessible and yet far away enough that it feels secluded and peaceful. What a gorgeous lodge too, with all kinds of activities and a huge fireplace with roaring flames if you just want to chill. "The property is old and quirky which we enjoyed. There is lovely scenery and enjoyable walks on the doorstep. Food in the restaurant was good although options were limited as it was the last evening before a seasonal closure."

"This property is pretty run down and poorly stocked for a condo, espcially at this price. It's dirty, in some cases disgustingly so (stained furniture, stuff on the walls, etc.) The bedding is pretty much the lowest quality you can imagine, and a lot of the fixtures don't work. Don't expect anything that a typical condo may come with, like say shampoo. It's definitely had water damage and a host of other problems that have never really been fixed.
