Bluff Point 3 Stars Hotels

"The unofficial mascot is a great blue heron that hunts by lamplight in the Lake Seneca shallows in full view of the rooms every night. The staff do a great job keeping it running. They were always available to help or give us fresh towels, and check-in took no time at all. Even on our last night when the whole town lost power in a freak storm, the room still had light and hot water, so we were able to shower and prepare to depart the next day. The price is great! Breakfast for two on a lakeside patio with a waiter plus the room still totals less than a room at the nearest chain hotel with a soggy buffet in a dim alcove just off the lobby without a lake view, so I'm not quite sure how other reviewers on this app define "free." Only downside is the view is too nice, so I always spend too much time in the mornings sipping coffee in the 70's shell chair just staring out the window at the lake instead of getting out and going hiking and swimming like I planned."
