"A beautiful stay right on the water, this hotel is a fantastic gem! Located just a mile or so north of Sturgeon Bay, most restaurants will deliver, so you're not that far out of the way that it's inconvenient. Suites come with a full kitchen, so bringing groceries for a weekend is a great way to feel a sense of hone away from home. I highly recommend!"

"Nice room. Easy to get too. Pet friendly!! My only negative comment would be regarding the “after hours” phone number. We had a toilet issue, had water on the floor, and the only number given was for lockout service, otherwise leave a message. Went to office right when they opened in the morning and a service person was there in under an hour to take care of it. But we worried all night about the need to use the toilet. Would definitely go back. "

"Garden Gate B&B is located near the actual Sturgeon Bay, which cuts across most of Door County from Green Bay . There is a shipyard directly across the street, but it isn't intrusive. Whistles at the start and end of the shift , that's about it. While the immediate area is unremarkable, the place is close to downtown in one direction and a lovely park on the bay in the other. Not too big Not too small Great fireplace For decor Road noise was minimal Other guests were very quiet and respectful We stayed for four nights and were very comfortable.
