"The room was clean, however the outside of the Howard Johnson is horribly dirty and old. Now I know why they don't share a lot of images of the property. The TVs are old (not Smart TVs). There was no USB connection in the room and the front desk attendant couldn't help me. The A/C units are old and make a lot of noise. I had a hard time sleeping, because of the heavy traffic on 4th street. "

"When we left Yuma for San Diego, I promptly also left my husband's favorite pajamas. When we rolled back through Yuma on the way home a few days later, the staff graciously had his gear stowed and ready for us to pick up. I am SO GRATEFUL they kept them for us! Top notch housekeeping staff."

"A simple hotel but the people couldn’t be nicer. The owner gave us a ride to the airport and wouldn’t accept a tip from me when I tried to offer it. It’s a simple hotel and a little dated but they offered a nice hot breakfast. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here several times and always been pleased. "
