"This location is a typical Best Western but a little classier than I expected it to be given its small town location. Second floor rooms via elevator which I much preferred than having to use stairs to a second floor (and I've stayed in motels without elevators. Room, bed, furnishings very comfortable, cozy, private. 50" flat panel TV with DirecTV and all my favorite channels. This was a surprise to find DirecTV instead of just free streaming apps. "This is a third rate romance type of place. They haven’t updated the mattresses in20 years and the blinds are broken. They don’t freshen the rooms. It looks nothing like the photos. Do no rent here! $10 more you can get a nice hotel in town. Don’t do it on the primrose of getting a clean RV atmosphere. They collect on tv spots and leave the rooms unkept. DONT DO IT."

"The hotel had extensive damage from the storm that went through in the weeks prior. Unfortunately that left the hotel with a pretty bad smell. The hotel just looked unsafe but was the only option we had so we stayed. So much was dingy and dirty the lamp shades were full of rust, the carpets felt wet, there was just a lot going on amd not in a good way."

"The hotel was not open. I confirmed with Hotels.com before going because of the hurricane. Hotels.com said they checked and it was open. There was no ref on the building when I arrived. Closed for significant hurricane damage. I slept in the car as everywhere in the area was booked. "
