"Great, affordable hotel for my work at WTO. Short walk to Taipei 101 MRT, Linjiang night market, tons of restaurants. Staff is tops, aim to please. I explain tradeoffs for excellent price: building is very old and prone to mildew smells, but staff work hard to keep clean and ventilated. When this caused problem with my initial room assignment, I was given different room, even upgrade, immediately. Workers note wifi is good not great, about 4-8 mbps dld. "The location is at its best to access old street and uber taxi knows it well as we caught uber many times during our 3 night stays. Accommodation is quite basic with small room, no view from our window, no turndown/cleaning service during our stay. Everything is clean and hygienic. If we have issues, you can chat with the manager in whatsapp, and they will attend pretty much straight away, eg. when our tv or ac not working, they attended rightaway.
