"Check in was very strange and not welcoming- the woman at the desk did not say anything to me other than to ask my name- no welcome not even a hello. She didn’t ask to see my ID or my credit card. "Rooms are to far from the check in. Tv's are small and not smart tvs. Restaurants in the area are limited at best. Bluefield i am.afraid is stuck in a time warp and so is this hotel. I could smell the stinch of years of cigarette smoking in my room even though the hotel is smoke free."

"the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. "
