"We've stayed in the Masterpiece on several occasions, so it works for us. The fan in the bathroom was annoying this time (no way to shut it off) and the bedding could use an upgrade. But, like I said, it still works for us."

"While visiting Cal Poly, we stayed at the Sands Inn, and we enjoyed it tremendously. The hotel was very nicely kept, the location is terrific for access to both the university and the San Luis Obispo downtown, and the staff was very responsive. The breakfast was also very nice. We would absolutely stay here again."

"It was a prefect experience, I can't find any fault during our stay. The location is easy to get to yet very quiet. Parking is plentiful even at late night. Walkable distance to some of the very nice restaurants around. The free breakfast is lovely, better than even some of the hotel we stayed. The room is beautiful, there's honestly nothing we don't like during our stay and we enjoyed this inn more than what we expected."
