"Great value hotel in good location for exploring parks, located just next to cable car. Rooms comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast buffet okay, but fairly limited choices, and quite busy with larger groups of tourists when we visited. "Super helpful hosts with very good English. Shared excellent recommendations for visiting zhangjiajie, Tianmenshan, and local food options. Even helped me get a car when my didi wouldn’t work! Cute night market outside and not far from train station and cable cars. Note the google maps location is wrong, it’s on the other side of the river, more north. Airport pickup was super helpful. Highly recommend. "

"We visited the hotel in off season so we have to expect that it is not up to full operation. I believe we were on two guests in this 900 plus room resort. The assistant manager was so helpful to us with researching things to do and places to eat in the area which made things much easier. The rooms were big and comfortable so no complaints there. I took advantage of the inexpensive in-house massages. Easy to get around using Didi. Would probably stay here again. "

"Very helpful owners, great room, though the bed was a bit hard. Location very close to a lot of restaurants and transportation, including the Tianmen Mountain cable car. Note: the hotel includes two properties a short walk from each other so it took a bit of sleuthing to find where to check in; the property with the front desk is “Hotel California.” The coordinates provided on Expedia also didn’t take us to the hotel; you need to head north, away from the police station and orthopedic hospital."
