"Wonderful stay in Yudanaka Hotel Housei. Everything from check in to check out was superb. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They drove us to the Snow Monkey park and to the train station. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many traditional foods. Onsen was relaxing after a cold day walking around. Will be back!"

"Traditional Ryokan with many onsen baths. We had our own outdoor onsen which was nice but you could also use one of the other larger onsen by free reservation, these were great. Traditional Japanese meal for dinner which was lovely and very authentic feeling. Quite expensive."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the pickup at the station to the drop off at the Snow Monkey Park, to the “key” to the local Onsen circuit…this was a welcome reprieve from the crazy pace of Tokyo and Kyoto. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, dinner and breakfast meals were all amazing and the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat.
