「Family trip. We wish we could stay there longer to enjoy the silent ambient and also the facilities. We have a big room and it is very convenience to parking our car directly at the front door of our "house". We encountered a snake at the pool and the staff there attended it and helped monitor it to ensure we feel safe. 」

「We were at The Carmel for 3 nights and they did not change the linen during our stay or make the bed. We didn't make a request but I had expectations that if guests were staying for more than 1 night that someone would attend to the room. Apart from this, the location was good and the staff very helpful.」

「Nice holiday park with many amenities sadly our visit was short and we couldn't use most. I'd recommend spending a couple days here in warm weather to experience all the park has to offer. May be nice if they offered a discount if youre not using the Waterpark. 」

「This hotel is so lovely, a lot of thought and care went into the decor and it was very clean. The products provided smelt amazing too. Nice and quiet with a lovely forest view from the front deck where we had dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Great old hotel undergoing renovation. Spectacular position looking over the ocean. Bistro menu was a bit expensive but we enjoyed our meals. Rooms were small and compact: ok for a single night. A few things in the room weren’t quite right - like the fridge in the cupboard being iced up because there was insufficient ventilation. Stay while you can before renovations finish and they start charging gastro pub prices. 」

「Property was easy to find in a great location. Staff were very helpful & friendly. The cabin was clean and had all suitable amenities. The only issue was that the code for the boomgate did not work properly, otherwise everything was excellent.」
