「Great experience overall but the check in process was confusing and the hot tub did not work as advertised, nor did the Inn have an outdoor, heated pool - that’s at the Lodge, down the hill. Good place to take a family with young kids, easy access to ski lifts but the area is very small…but this is Michigan…we make the best of what God gave us. The “Legends on the Hill” restaurant was AWESOME - food and service - and a two minute walk from our room. 」

「Older resort but has a lot of charm. Because it's older the lobby has that older smell to it when you walk in. Parts could be updated to some of the buildings. We rented an economy room with twin beds and a bunker up top in the Lodge building. The room was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom, table and TV with mini fridge and coffee maker and closet with ironing board . The grounds and view were gorgeous. 「The room was way nicer than expected for the price. The room was large, clean, and it had a large tv. Many budget options skimp on the tv size. Everything was clean and worked as expected. I have stayed in rooms double the price that were way worse. Would definitely recommend.」

「Such a great hotel especially the price for what u get. My boyfriend and I only stayed one night here. We loved it, we had a full size fridge/freezer a dishwasher, a stovetop and some pots and dishes. The couch pulled out into a bed and u could easily have a family of 4 here and it would be perfect. 「Beautiful cabin for a quick ski trip with the family. Happy to find that there was a pack n’ play and toddler booster seat in the closet for us. Lots of room, cozy cabin vibes, and close to multiple ski hills and Petoskey. 」

「Our stay here was wounderful. The staff was very courteous and efficient. Our room was very clean, modern looking with a very nice color scheme. The view was nice overlooking Crooked River. I am sure it would be super fun in warmer months as there are open spaces to roam or go boating. We would definitely recommend staying here. 」

「I would have given 5 stars across the board because our stay was wonderful except our tub was filthy. I had to clean it out to use it and it dirtied 3 cloths. Staff was awesome though and the bed was comfy and clean! Nice room!」
