We had a wonderful stay at the Macdonald Windsor Hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Windsor and just steps from Windsor Castle, shops, restaurants, and the train station. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring Windsor, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location and wonderful breakfast There is a car park (£40) located under the hotel - very convenient although on the pricey side- that said our car was safe and the gentleman attending to the car park was lovely - he even offered us a complimentary bottle of water for our journey home.

This hotel was excellent. Perfect location to see and visit Windsor Castle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We parked the car on site it cost £40 for the night, a bit pricey but we knew it was safe and out of the blazing sun. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Would definitely stay there again

Trevligt hotell med otroligt bra läge. Stora rum och fint badrum. Om jag ska klaga på något så hade jag önskat större säng och bättre frukost.

Very average and dated hotel. Room was clean, but had a musty odor. Bed was old and sagged with probably a few broken springs. This could be room dependent but definitely a negative. Overall this place was just ok - nothing really terrible but also nothing amazing.

Surprisingly clean, spacious and modern on the inside despite the exterior being deceivingly older. Enjoyed our stay. It was so convenient for the castle, the shopping and dining, and right outside where the change of guards are.

Spent one night at the hotel, conveniently located close to the high street, shops and restaurants and more importantly the star of the town: the Castle. Great customer service from the lovely staff The room had a good size, was clean throughout. The double bed was comfortable. Hope the hotel will sort out the phone lines in the room soon; I called to have room service and was cut off a couple of times while waiting to be transferred. Ordered to have breakfast in the room; it arrived at the time I wanted it and was lovely

We have stayed here before a couple of months ago and chose to come back. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The car park is also very useful given this hotels perfect central location. This time we didn’t eat here as the food is really only average. Staff were all very helpful. We will be back again in the next couple of months
