「2 night stay, arriving on a Sunday early evening, check in was great, lovely staff, advised us that there were free canapés for guests at 6.45, we had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, there was a choice of roast or other items off the menu. Our room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast in the morning had a good choice of cold buffet style items and also you could order hot food from the breakfast menu. There was a friendly bar area for the evenings and a nice outside seating area too....

「We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large. 」

「Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.」
