The AC in my room was not working. Talked to the front desk, the gentleman checked the room and told me that he would be right back. I never saw him again. Thirty minutes later I came down to ask, and another gentleman told me that they had not forgotten me, just needed time. At 11:30 pm, I came down again, and apparently both people promised to deal with the situation left. The new lady behind the counter told me she had no knowledge about the situation, and could not do anything. Since I booked through Expedia, she could not give me a discount. She offered me some free snack. At a hot summer night, I need a working AC, and I do not think free snack will do the trick. I understand the maintenance is not onsite, and the staff members probably could not do anything about the AC. However, I would appreciate more open communications and not give false hope for me waiting for 1 hour at late night in my room waiting for someone to show up to look at the AC. This is a terrible experience.
