「This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. 」

「We stayed en route to Guisborough to break the journey up. The landlord actually called us to see if we would want food so they could prepare something before they closed. He was very attentive, friendly and helpful, from that call to the moment we checked out. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are spacious, clean with everything you’d need. It’s a typical coaching house. Yes - as others have said, it’s out in the sticks, so peaceful and quiet. It’s not five star luxury, but if you’re looking for...

「If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds.
