There are food outlets/shops (in surrounding retail area, McDonald’s (5 min walk), m & s, Costa, KFC, and Tesco) if you decide to get takeaway and bring back to your room. 「Caravan in a good location, close to site amenities, with parking close by. Very clean, some furnishings slightly worn, but overall very nice stay. Owner very nice with excellent communication. Would use again. 」

「Owner was very friendly, position of hotel was close to all amenities, room very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Could have done with a hairdryer and maybe a fridge for water. Enjoyed our stay」

「Fabulous find, great communication from owner, arrived late and excellent direction to rental was given. On entering the property was very impressed, what a bargain for such a lovely property. Would definitely recommend Birds Farm if your visiting Colchester or surrounding areas.」

「The caravan was very clean on arrival. The host had left cleaning products for us. The beds were made and also extra bedding. Clean towels were available. The host called before we arrived to let us know she had left ice lollies for the children and some crisps. There was also things like ready meals, tea, coffee, sugar and sauces. Also a bbq to use. 」

「Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it...

「It was a excellent stay, nice clean caravan perfect size for a couple or family of four. Just opposite club house, good if you don't mind a little noise till about 12, which we didn't mind at all. 」
