We were in DC to celebrate my 78 yr old mother and my 13 year old daughter birthday. I booked a 2 bedroom room. My first concern when we entered the room was the bathrooms both bathrooms have tubs when have about 2.5 ft clearance in order for you to use. From the pictures online you cannot see that( at least when I viewed it from my phone.)This bathtub clearance was a problem for my mother and my daughter who has CP. I am sure the hotel has accessible room but I think this is important for others to know when booking this hotel. On a positive, as others have shared the rooms are very clean.The other concern we had while there is hot water. If anyone took a shower everyone else who took a shower after that received cold water. When we complained at the front desk they told us we had to wait 15 minutes between any activity with water for the hot water to reset. (Showers, dishwasher, washing machine). We did not use the dishwasher or washing machine but having to space out our shower is ridiculous. This meant I took cold showers for 2 of the 3 nights I was there. Very disappointing.The location is nice if you want to see the White House. We did pay for parking which 69 tax… parking is very tight!
Staff was helpful and friendly but housekeeping could not provide additional bags for trash.
I would not book again due bathtub clearance,hot water issues, mold in coffee maker, broken ice tray, no blackout curtains and housekeeping never cleaned the room.
