「The building is well maintained, there was no cigarette smell as is often the case in "non-smoking" hotels. When we arrived to check in, we passed staff members during their smoke break near the entrance. The smoking there was not a problem for us. We waited only briefly until staff entered and helped us. 「Manager & housekeeping was pleasant. My only complaint is that there was no room on 1st floor available. No elevator. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were flat. Microwave and mini refrigerator worked well. 」

「Exceeded my expectations. I knew that breakfast would be provided each morning. But I didn't know that Jeff is a restaurant chef and his wife Linda is a CIA trained pastry chef. Jeff and Linda were so friendly and accommodating. I felt almost as if I were staying with family. After breakfast I took my 2nd cup of coffee outside to the garden where I read for awhile.
