「On arrival we found the car park with plenty of space. The grounds around the hotel where outstanding and the lama's/ sheep where a lovely touch too. As we entered the reception it was warm and inviting the staff on reception where very jolly, hepful and greeted us with pleasant warm smiles. Check-in was quick and straight forward. 「Parking at the multistory parking next door was 22€/day. Hotel is beautiful upon entering. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The allergens were not correct on the menu though so ask before ordering if you have allergies. Room was spacious and beds were good. Corridors really dark. 「Service was fantastic! Everyone was very inviting and friendly. We stayed at the castle Dec 30th. Vivian at the front desk was great, she took our families on a ghost tour throughout the castle. The bartender, wait staff and overnight porter were great as well!」

「The hotel is beautifully furnished. Bedroom very clean and comfortable with ample plug-in and USB points. The only issue is not enough tea or coffee in the tray. The only mirror is in the bathroom, making applying make up difficult whilst partner is showering, steamy mirrors. Really could do with a mirror in a well lit area of bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast, and the food was of excellent quality. I would definitely stay here again.」

「Lovely hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, and loved the entrance with fab staircase. Nice bar and restaurant. Good breakfast options. Cons. The room was very hot. Breakfast was ruined by music being played midway through my sitting. First of all it was loudly tested by the staff and then played consistenly so i had to leave. I think most people want a peaceful breakfast and don't wish to have loud music or listen to staff discussions. Other than that, I would recommend. 」

「This place was excellent on all fronts. I have just returned from a wedding there. The hotel was absolutely immaculate and the staff were superb. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. The wedding staff were truely amazing in ensuring the day flowed into the early hours. 10/10 to the wedding manager and his staff.
